Variations in temperature due to positioning of furniture near Radiators, Heaters and Air Conditioning Ducts may affect materials.
Careless use of cigarettes and matches could set fire to furniture.
Cut threads off – do not pull as this may lead to damage.
Refer to fabric care label for care of upholstery.
Regular turning of reversible loose cushions can ensure even wear. Other cushions should regularly be turned, kneaded or worked into shape.
In time, most fabrics will develop comfort creases whilst filling materials will soften and to some extent flatten with use.
Regular light vacuuming will assist wear.
Timber surfaces should be wiped clean with soft cloth and occasionally polished with a touch of furniture polish.
Frequency of maintenance and attention to care is dependant on use.
We recommend the use of feet protectors to prevent marking of floors and carpets by the plastic or timber feet on the furniture.
We strongly recommend that Recliner furniture is not used by children without adult supervision.
Uptown Furniture products are guaranteed to withstand normal use by a person up to 110kg and/or 1.8m tall. For prospective customers of a larger stature we would recommend that contact is made with the factory before purchase so that we may advise on extra structural support and different grades of material which may be more suitable.
